How to prepare for your relocation consultation
Forty-five minutes can go a long way when the key facts are at hand. Here's what to prepare before the call.
1. Education
- University, degree and graduation year
- Diploma and transcript, as a scan or photo if you have them
- Whether you've checked your university in the Anabin database (no worries if not, we'll do it together)
2. Work experience
- Positions and years, especially over the last 5 years
- Whether you have a job offer or are talking to a German employer, and the salary
3. Languages
- Your German and English level, and any certificates
4. Family
- Moving alone or with a spouse and children
- Whether you are legally married
5. Where you are now
- Country of residence and citizenship
- Which consulate you plan to apply at
6. Timing and budget
- When you want to move
- For a job seeker visa or Chancenkarte, whether you can open a blocked account
7. Your questions
Write them down in advance so none get lost during the call.
After the consultation you'll have an action plan. If you'd like us to walk the route with you, the €90 fee is credited towards the Visa package.

No worries — we'll go through it together during the consultation. Knowing your university, degree and graduation year is enough.
